HD TV has experienced enormous success the past years, driven by the consumer electronics market and its shift from CRT-based television sets to LCD- and plasma-based TV screens. HDR or 4K Ultra HD is now starting to be adopted by the consumer market in the video surveillance arena it promises outstanding image quality and details.

Cameras and the surveillance industry have also increased their camera and resolution recording. This is measured in megapixels, where HD is measured in (2) megapixels, 4K or Ultra HD starts from 8 megapixels and vary depending on resolution size.

As the resolution sizes increase, we can now install a camera where an older analogue camera may have been and instantly replace it with a Ultra HD (4K) camera and get the quality of 4 analogue cameras with one. This is possible to due a wider angle and the abilty to zoom in an image due to higher resolution. In turn, this creates a higher security level and gives video capturing on extreme details and can help finding identifying or details, such as brands on items or clothing, tattoos on persons and even licence plates details or company details on vehicles.

Its AXIS’s best-in-class product, suitable for outdoor use and indoor use and is perfect at the back entrance of a store, restaurant, hotel or warehouse.

AXIS M3106-LVE Mk II gives you sharp 4 MP image quality and a field of view of up to 130°. It features Axis Zipstream technology, enhanced with H.265. The AXIS Zipstream greatly reduces storage and bandwidth needs, while capturing important details in full image quality.
